My show at Ayres Residential Care Home

I visited to see my show at Ayres Residential Care Home on Sun. Oct. 24th. It looks  nice to integrate with and brighten the residence well. I am happy to see that it helps to uplift resident’s spirit. I watched my mother’s aging process and we all are going to experience aging process, too. We all need to care about elders and their conditions.

This show runs till the end of October, 2010. Please visit if you around that neighborhood.

” Continuum Continued ” is closed.

Today, I picked up all paintings at the show “Continuum Continued”, which had run for 3 months and well received. Always when the show is over, I feel a little sad. The energy and space we created  for the show is gone. Sure, each painting contains energy and together like an orchestra playing music.

My next show is scheduled in October, November and December, 2010 at an assisted home in Century City. I am hoping that my paintings will help uplift residents over there. I will post the detail when it get close to that date.

Gorky’s Show at MOCA

This is my first blog ever write. Hope it appears on site right. I went to Ashley Gorky’s Show at MOCA today. I could relate to dedication of the development of his own voice and style. It was very interesting to see parallel to his own personal life and his artistic expression. I can relate to that, too. His inspiration source of biomorphic abstraction was countryside natural scene. That I can relate to that, too.

More I have progressed as an artist, more I understand other artist’s work and enjoy them. All these experiences have enriched my life in-depth. I am so happy to become an artist. I never dreamed of becoming an artist when I left my country in 1979.
